SSC CGL 2016
Ssc-cgl is the most reputed examination after UPSC and State PCS it gives opportunities to the students to compete the central level examination for central government job in various departments like income tax, postal services, CAG etc.
After filling the form the biggest question in front of student i.e. how to prepare
Steps to preparation of CGL is followings-
For Tier 1–
· Scrutinize the syllabus carefully
· Four sections i.e. Reasoning ,English , Advance math’s and General studies
· All Section have 50 marks each means total 200 marks no sectional cut off do all in you feel yourself stronger
· For reasoning
– RS Agrawal book in sufficient success mantra ins practice, practice and practice
· For English –
V.K Sinha book =for Hindi medium and S.P Bakshi for all we have to put extra effort on this section because this sections gives us advantage in Tier 2.
· For Advance Math’s
– I write here advance word because this section contains the higher level mathematics like trigonometry & geometry it quite different from Banks exam if you are really a serious aspirant my suggestion is different from your coaching classes my recommendation of books are Rajesh Verma “fast track mathematics” of Arihant publication . and class 9Th and 10th CBSE BOARD RD SHARMA (for all concept clearance and more practice). More efforts in this section consolidate your selection chance because it has 200 marks in Tier-2
Note – don’t depend on RS Agrawal aptitude book.
· General studies is subject “every thing below the sun” but last few year in this section most of the questions asked from science lucent GS is enough or Arihant GK and for extra efforts for science I recommends 9th and 10th NCERT refresher’s(not books).
Cut off lies from last few year around 100 for general but if you really want a post you need 125 and more u can able to take because merits comes from Tier-1 + Tier -2
Its enough for Tier -1 will post next article on Tier 2 but till now need practice
